POETRY : POEM WITHOUT WORDS

Image Credit – Google (getty images)

I gave up my body as a slate,
He spilled his thoughts with his pen

We breathed life into it

Together, we produced a rhythm
I threw up in lines

And slept on the verses

The linea darkened, and

A poem was found in my belly
A duet,

Written by two lovers

With their bodies

In the safety of their hearts

I labored for our art

And when I pushed

We got the best poem

written without words.
